So, we just wrapped up our series on "Love Your Neighbor" and will not be having a service in 2 Sundays (3/3) because of Student Life Conference being that weekend. I really don't want to start a new series until the week after that.
I had watched this movie/documentary done by Kirk Cameron some time back, called Monumental. I'm not sure how many of our students have seen it, but I am willing to bet that most of them have not. I know we showed it at the church several weeks ago on a Friday night, but I'm not sure how many of our students came that night and watched it.
So, let's have a popcorn & movie night this Sunday night!! Katie will open us up with a game and *perhaps* we will sing a song or two. Then we will just turn down the lights and watch the movie together. The runtime on the movie is about an hour and twenty minutes, so please try to get here right at 6pm this week. We might be more like 7:45 or 8pm getting done, too. So, parents take note of that!
This is a great movie with deep implications on how we shape our worldview from a biblical perspective. It is also just a really good treatment of how our country was founded and for what purpose. So, whether you have already seen it or not, come and join us on Sunday night!
