Student Life Conference Information

Hello all!

I want to give some final information about this weekend's conference.  If you have any questions that aren't answered here, please feel free to email me (momentumsp@gmail.com) or give me a call on my cell (336.583.5375).  You can find out more about the conference here: http://goo.gl/KoGR7.

(1) We will need to leave no later than 1pm on Friday.  Please plan to check out of school (if you are in traditional school) by 12:30.  Please try to get to the church no later than 12:45.  We have a tight schedule that night, so we need to not be delayed in leaving.

(2) The total cost for the weekend is $100.  So, whatever your balance is needs to be paid by the time we leave on Friday.  If this is a problem, please let me know ASAP so we can work something out.

(3) The only money students will NEED to bring with them is enough to buy food as we travel, which is supper on Friday and lunch on Sunday.  There will be plenty of opportunities to buy t-shirts, cd's, stickers, bracelets, posters, books, etc. at the conference.  So, you might want to have a conversation with your student about how much money you may want them to bring for that.

(4) What to bring...

A Bible (A good ol' fashion, hold in your hands, flip the pages, book-form, copy of the Scriptures!) :)
A journal to take notes in (although they may receive one there at the conference)
All toiletries
Please use discretion on bringing expensive technology items (I WILL collect all cell phones at the beginning of each session and redistribute them to students at the session's conclusion)
A good, flexible, joyful attitude

(5) Permission Slip filled out. You can find and download a copy of the permission form on the Church Website, on the Student Ministry page here: http://goo.gl/CtvGA.  Just look for the link on the right of the page!  I will also have some of these printed for you to fill out on Friday before we leave.

I will make another post before Friday with all of our leaders' contact info, our hotel info, conference location info, etc.

We should return back to Westwood by about 5:30 or 6pm on Sunday evening, March 3rd.  We will only stop for lunch that day, not dinner.
